Corporate Code of Conduct

Kanaoka makes use of its abundant experience as a plastic packaging material converter to provide customers with safe and clean packaging materials in a timely manner to please customers, support the rich consumer life of Japan, and support society. We will contribute to progress and development.
All officers and employees of Kanaoka will comply with this code in conducting corporate activities, and strive to be a "trustworthy company" for all those around us, including customers, business partners, and local residents.

1. Comply with laws and regulations

Kanaoka will act with good sense in order to become a company trusted by society by complying with domestic and foreign laws, ordinances, government notifications, social norms, and internal regulations. We will make all employees aware that they are members of Kanaoka and instruct them to act with good sense in their daily lives.

2. Act sensible as a member of society

Kanaoka will not take any action that goes against social order or common sense, taking into consideration the impact of its business activities on society.

3. Conduct sound corporate activities

Kanaoka conducts highly transparent transactions based on fair and free competition. We maintain sound and normal relationships with customers, business partners, government agencies, etc.

4. Always think about customer satisfaction

Kanaoka always strives to earn the satisfaction and trust of our customers by providing safe, clean, defect-free products and appropriate sales services in a timely manner.

5. Conduct business activities on the premise of respect for human rights

Kanaoka conducts business activities with respect for the basic human rights of all people, including those inside and outside the company.In addition, we value communication and teamwork within the company, and we all work together to create a bright and vibrant corporate culture, a comfortable working environment, and a safe and clean working environment at all times.

6. Appropriately manage information related to customers

Kanaoka properly manages the assets and information entrusted to us by our customers and business partners and the assets and information of the company so that they will not be improperly handled such as lost, stolen or leaked. Personal information will be appropriately acquired, used, and provided to third parties in accordance with relevant laws and internal rules. In addition, we will respect intellectual property rights such as copyrights, trademark rights, and trade secrets of third parties, and will not infringe them.

7. Actively contribute to society

Kanaoka strives to build good communication with local residents and society, and to gain their support and trust. In addition, as a good corporate citizen, we will actively contribute to the local community and society.

8. Actively tackle environmental problems

Kanaoka recognizes that tackling environmental problems is an essential requirement for the existence and activities of its own company, and through its own business, it will continuously and proactively work on the conservation of the global environment, resource saving and energy saving.

9. Not involved in antisocial forces

Kanaoka has no relationship with antisocial forces and groups that threaten social order and security, and will take a resolute attitude when pressured by them.

10. Inappropriate entertainment and gifts are prohibited

Kanaoka will not do anything that deviates from general business practices, let alone bribery, regarding the giving and receiving of entertainment and gifts.Only those that are approved by your boss and whose costs are reasonable.  
 
Top management strongly recognizes that the realization of the spirit of this norm is their role, and will take the initiative in setting an example and thoroughly disseminating it to employees.In addition, we will constantly grasp the voices inside and outside the company, establish an effective internal system, and strive to thoroughly enforce corporate ethics.
When a situation that violates this code occurs, the top management will clarify the attitude of solving the problem inside and outside, investigate the cause, and prevent recurrence.
