 Ecology Measures

Thorough ecology measures such as replacing VOCs that must be collected with heat sources

We will maintain the latest consideration and sincere attitude for our social mission.

What is VOC?

⇒ It is an abbreviation for Volatile Organic Compounds, which is a general term for chemical substances such as toluene and ethyl acetate contained in inks and adhesives used in the process of making packaging films.

Efforts of Saitama Factories Two and Three, which carry out the majority of production

① At these two factories, VOCs are collected with almost no discharge to the outside.
In addition, we have introduced equipment that burns the recovered VOCs and regenerates them into alternative energy to gas.
Equipment of Saitama Factory Two (introduced in 2008)
Equipment of Saitama Factory Three (introduced from the beginning of completion in 2006)
② In 2008/9 Obtained ISO14001 (environmental management system).

③ Recent efforts
 ● Introduced "total heat exchanger" for air conditioning in printing/laminating rooms
                 ⇒ 2014, Saitama Factory Two
                 ⇒ 2016, Saitama Factory Three

As with home energy-saving air conditioners, in hot summers, it is possible to save energy by circulating cold air and further cooling the air. However, because VOCs are handled in our printing and laminating processing rooms, we could not do that due to the work environment.
This total enthalpy heat exchanger removes VOCs from the air mixed with VOCs so that the cold air can be cooled in the same way as an energy-saving air conditioner at home. By achieving this, it has become possible to reduce the amount of energy (especially gas) used in air conditioning.

 ● All lighting equipment other than explosion-proof type lighting installed in printing machines, etc. will be LED (2015)
